The chalice is characterized by a mixtilinear contourned foot, richly embossed with Baroque elements such as volutes, roses and shells. The knot and the underpan have Eucharistic symbols: bunch of grapes and bundles of wheat. Below the foot appear the coat of arms of Archbishop Antonio Puoti (1758-1792).
