Chalice of exceptional embossed manufacturing and unique sample on the coastal territory. On foot, between the ramages stand out three cherubs, and still present on the underpan, alternating with scenes from the old and New Testaments. On the underpan in sequence are depicted: the vigil in the garden of Gethsemane, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection of Jesus. Follow inte node: the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Circumcision. On the step there are scenes from the Old Testament: the adoration of the bronze snake, the sacrifice of Isaac, Moses makes water gush from the source. Under the base there’s a rich decoration that surrounds the coat of archbishop arms of Mons. Matteo Granito (1635-1638) and the following dedicatory inscription: M. ARCHIEPISCOPUS ECCLES. SUAE AD DIVINA PRO SE PECCATORE SACRIFICIA 1636.
