The fresco was part of the decoration of a chapel in the basilica, demolished in an unspecified period. It depicts the Madonna and Child with two Saints. Of these two are still visible parts of the mantle and the feet.
It is characterized by a cursive pictorial writing, thin and light strokes and a courteous elegance, expression of refined taste, close to the style of the Antonio and Onofrio Penna, artist from Marches active in Ladislao Durazzo court, whose famous work is the fresco for the Penna family in Santa Chiara
in Naples.
