The staff consists of a barrel, marked by five cylindrical elements with quadrilobed patterned incisions, ending with a knot on which lean six caryatids. The scroll is characterized as an elegant raceme where comes out the figurine of Saint Andrew seated on the throne. The final part of the scroll is supported by the wings of a cherub.
On the base appears the coat of arms of Mons. Giacomo Teodoli, Archbishop of Amalfi from 1625 to 1635.
There are also three NAP stamps without thousandth and acronyms O P e OSC.
